Castle Vale 1 v Shelfield United 9 - 16th September 2018
Proud to be sponsored by coolair/daiken
A great team performance,  after a long journey to castlevale, everyone did there jobs and created many many many chances could of easy be double figures. But result was the reward of the team who all worked for each other and made it hard from start to finish for castlevale to get into the game.
Well done boys notable performances Stanley never gave up from start to finish hard tackles, dribbles and a goal well done.

Shelfield United 1 v Chase Colts 1- 23rd September 2018
Great performance today against a team we lost to in pre season, we were the team on top most of the game created chances but no taken them. We took the lead and looked for more in first half but couldn't finish. Second half started of cold with Chase town scoring from start,to take away all good work in first half, but sufc carried on with pressure but couldn't find the winner, notable performances from Jack and jaidon non stop effect all game  deserved man of matches.

Midland Soccer Acad 0 v Shelfield United 0 - 30th September 2018
Playing against a team ranked above us was always gonna be a tough game.
But a rare 0-0 at youth level but was not boring, was a really close contest by both teams really hard battle in midfield with both teams having chances to win the game. But a good performance from all today all tried there best and proud of all of them, keep it going boys, notable performance from Theo solid at the back and covering in goal for a brave Tyler in goal who saved team with his knee. Well done boys ...

Shelfield United 5 v Burntwood Dragons 2- 21st October 2018
First half, sufc started of slow having most of the ball but not really creating chances and cost us as burntwood scored from a corner with a brilliant near post volley, this seemed to wake us up.
Jimmy powered though the middle to smash past the gk to equalize. Then a brilliant team goal with some great passing in the box left Stanley free at back post to take the lead. Sufc scored again with Alfie f picking up loose ball in box to smash into the roof of net. Sufc wasn't finished there sufc scoring from their corner short to Alfie who crossed for Jimmy to flick in. First half 4-1.

Second half burntwood started of strong again creating many chances but Tyler keeping out the attack with some great saves. Sufc started to wake up creating some chances but not as clinacle as first half, then a breakaway seen Alfie free but gk made good save but only to the feet of sub Jamie to finish 5-1. Burntwood got their 2nd with a mix up in defence but game was over and sufc with a great performance esp first half.
Man of MATCH went to wandi, who was everywhere today defending attacking some real heart today really deserved it.
Parents went to Jimmy with his first half performance playing up front for first time  was a threat all half.
Well done Shelfield very good today, and thanks for all surporters too.
